Becoming an Event Volunteer is a rewarding and flexible way, helping to raise funds and awareness to enable Childline to continue supporting children and families in Gibraltar, in their time of need.
As a volunteer, you simply show up at events you have signed up for, lend a helping hand where needed, and enjoy the experience. There’s no ongoing commitment beyond the events you choose to participate in.
What Kind of Person Is Suitable to be an Events Volunteer?
Ideal candidates would be:
- Prepared to learn new skills.
- Smiling and approachable, with a positive attitude.
- Able to ensure that attendees have a pleasant experience.
- Help at various events either daytime or evening.
- Able to work well with others to ensure the events success.
- Not have a criminal record and willing to undergo a Police Check.
How To Apply?
- Interested applicants can complete an online Application Form
- Shortlisted applicants will be required to attend an interview.
- Successful applicants will be required to complete a RGP Police Vetting Form.
What Will Happen When I Am Interviewed?
The interview is informal & the interviewers will:
- Ask you questions about yourself and your experience.
- Answer any questions you may have and discuss the services provided by Childline Gibraltar.
