Anyone can volunteer. It can be very rewarding and is a great way to:

  • meet new people
  • gain new or use existing skills
  • get experience
  • make a big difference to your community

Aside from the obvious feel-good factor from giving your time to a worthy cause, volunteering has a number of key benefits for your career, which make it well worth considering. Not only is it a great way to gain experience, volunteering can also help you stand out from the crowd and learn practical skills which will make you more desirable to prospective employers.

Whether for our Helpline or Appropriate Adult team, adults are welcome to volunteer and in turn contribute significantly to improving the lives of children and adolescents. Specialist training is provided to enable all volunteers to develop the tools and skills needed for either role.

If you want to make a difference, join our team. Sign up now or send us an email to request more information.
