Safeguarding
At Childline Gibraltar, we are committed to creating and fostering a culture that promotes safeguarding and the welfare of all children and adults at risk. Our safer recruitment practices support this by ensuring that there is a consistent and thorough process of obtaining, collating, analysing and evaluating information from and about candidates to ensure that all persons appointed are suitable to work with our children and adults.
Values
At Childline Gibraltar we are committed to values of equality, diversity and inclusion and recruit staff and volunteers based on fair and transparent processes for all applicants.
How can you help?
Children often don’t have a safe space to share their worries. Our Helpline Service gives them a confidential way to reach out, whether by phone or online.
When a child is detained by the Police or Customs, they do not always have a parent/guardian who is available or willing to be present. You could give a detained child the support they need at this frightening time.
Support our charity and the young people of Gibraltar by volunteering at events and awareness days.
As a Young Volunteer, you’ll play a vital role in raising awareness about Childline through social media, supporting fundraising events, and helping spread the word about the work we do.
